The goal of the program is to improve accessible and inclusive mobility in small urban and rural areas for seniors and persons with disabilities in the counties. VAIL mobility managers provide:
- comprehensive, customized trip planning assistance
- travel training
- group training workshops
- presentations on trip planning and travel-training options
- develop transportation training that meets the learning needs of seniors and people with different types of disabilities
- attend community meetings to promote equal access to transportation
- conduct outreach and community education
